Final Project

I know, it’s a bit late in the day, but I’m gonna start doing posts for my final project. We’re working with The National Gallery. The brief was simply; to choose a painting owned by The National Gallery, and do a one minute animation inspired by that painting in some way. I chose Tiepolos; An Allegory with Time and Venus. I’ve stuck quite close to the story so I can concentrate on character design and animation, but even that’s taking to long. My time management sucks. We got about 6 weeks left and I haven’t even started animating. I can’t believe the course is almost over. I still have so much to get out of my system. Hopefully, I’ll find a job that we help facilitate my personal studies. Anyway, here some designs and a bit of my story board. I’ll post my animatic later.

And Again….
Wes

Ps: I think I like Father time with the glowing eyes. He looks scary. That’s what I want, and the images from the story board is just a selection so it won’t make much sense. I’ll post the full version with the animatic.

Sweet choice and character designs. The color palette works really well and I enjoyed your animation piece with Bruce Lee; it was loads of fun to watch :)

I look forward to future updates.

Let´s start animating? focus on the animation, the same as us, remenber, don´t spend 4 week building your models (desing characters) and animate it in 1 week,,,,have it in mind,,,,,
I´m starting my blockomatic right now, I doo hope you do the same..
You got Time, the baby and I could see tha era is borning, let´s do the job, I love your animations, so DO IT...hihih cheers wes, hope you do great,

Great stuff again Wes. As a 3D student I get so jealous that you 2D guys can just whisk up these amazing other worlds. Your concept art and drawing style is awesome, good luck for your final.
