Not Quite Everything....

I missed the sketchgroup this last weekend, so my plan to draw everything er...didnt go according to plan LOL. So here is some life drawing from last Thursday. Got a class tomorrow and sketchgroup on sunday so I'll do a healthier post then.....

love them dude. my favorite are the 3rd and the last. the atmosphere in the last sketch is great.
thanks for the tip! Im a little confused though. what exactly do you mean with the direction of tone?
just trying to get the fullest out of your advice :)

man you have some gems here. I love the laying down pose. A tough one everytime. That change of perpective always throws me. Especially on the rib to pelvis relationship. you executed it really nicely. props!

nice ones Wes. I was checking the shadows and cross hatching since you were discussing it some time ago. The last one seem the weakest on that point but all the others are working really well

Way to go Wes. Nice studies.

I just went crazy this week and did some gauche painting at the life drawing session. It went as well as could be expected. Beer + nude women + paint = awesome:) I'll try and get them scanned and posted soon so you can check em.

yeah she was leaning with her foot on a chair, just had no time left to draw the chair haha.
glad you liked the post... thanks bro. watercolor and pen is a fun combination.
i just went to the other sketchgroup session i mentioned. was really awesome... finally didnt feel rusty anymore.
